This factory second offers solid cedar construction at a reduced price, with visible cosmetic imperfections that give each piece its own character. Built from select-grade cedar with solid 1½" × 1½" posts, rot-proof dowels, and structural screws, it combines strength with a classic garden silhouette.

Western Red Cedar is naturally rot-resistant and gradually weathers to a soft pewter grey. Factory seconds may display knots, wane, end cracks, splits, varied grain colours, small resin pockets, light staining, or machining marks. These imperfections do not affect structural integrity or longevity.

Assembly is straightforward with self-aligning dowel connections and detailed illustrated instructions. Stainless steel hardware and an assembly bit are included. You’ll need a multi-bit screwdriver or electric drill, plus a mallet.
