Assembly bit is provided. Trellis is built using 1 1/2" cedar lumber not thin lathe. You can add additional nails or screws with little fear of wood splitting or other damage. This product contains no wood preservatives or chemical, environmentally friendly and sustainable. 7' and 8' obelisks ship in a 6' long box, extended post slide together and are fixed with embeded aluminum angle.
